AWARDS
In each category, a Joseph Binder Award in gold, silver, and bronze was awarded in the form of trophies: the ball of crumpled paper encased in glass is a symbol for the creative process. In addition, the jury gave away up to four merit awards in each of the graphic design and illustration categories.
In order to support independent, conceptual, scientific, and non-commercial activities in the fields of graphic design and illustration, cash prizes worth a total of 10,000 euros were awarded to five outstanding projects in the Design Fiction category.
Additionally the Henry Steiner Prize was awarded to honour a particularly deserving project building bridges.
CEREMONY
What a party that was! So many people who came to the big hall excited, thrilled, curious, perfumed and with the flexibility to sit on the sidelines as well. The seats were full. The benches too. The wardrobe. The Joseph Binder Award Ceremony 2022, wich was taking place on 17th November, was a big and international event, broadcasted to the wider world via livestream and available to watch at any time. Congratulations to all the winners! It was a blast!
